  • In preparation for his first morph, Jason's hands were energized with black energy, but in all future morph preparations, his energy color would be gold. (Source: Submitted by "Josh G.")
  • The Gold Ranger morph came after the Zeo Ranger morphs whenever Jason morphed along with the others.
  • Similar to the Power Morphers' stylized lightning bolt and the Zeonizers' disc close-up, the shot which preceded all Gold Ranger morphs unless otherwise noted was the head of the Golden Power Staff opening in front of a black background, with gold streaks of energy then flying into its red orb.
  • For his morph sequence, Jason would be in front of the staff symbol background (complete with gold streaks emanating from the symbol) with his arms crossed in front of his chest; he would call, "Gold Ranger power!" and then separate his arms as his forearms glowed with gold energy; he would then hold his arms down, and a green grid would appear over him; finally, bluish-green energy flames would move up the grid, suiting Jason up in the Gold Ranger suit.
  • Jason's image in the morph would always remain the same, never changing to match his clothes.

  • To prepare to morph, Jason gestured his hands around as they glowed with gold energy; once his arms were in the final crossed position, the energy in his hands moved down to his forearms' intersection point (actually, just above it), then pulsed outward in a ring of gold energy like the Zeonizers as green, yellow, and red streaks came from just above the intersection point; in all later arm-crossing gestures, the streaks would only be green.
